I think up to maybe 23 psi especially because of the improved coolent process, and the fact that the BPV is metal, and not plastic liek the Evo 8.

Yes, I said BPV (Bypass Valve!!!!!!! damnit!!!!) :2funny:

Like I said, it's not a BOV... that's why I said you are a NOOB...

23 psi is comming from a performance shop to really run safe... Â*Sorry, I can't remember which performance shop said it, but I do know this for a fact... Â*

Yes, safe is in the eye of the beholder as they say, I would talk to someone at RRE or another good performance shop.

Mike@Forge said the IX BOV is good till 25-26psi IIRC. there should be a BOV thread somewhere on this board, search for it.

Like I said, it's not a BOV... that's why I said you are a NOOB...

So when you put an aftermarket BOV on a car and you recirculate it... does it become a """BPV""" (bypass valve)??????

No, it's a hybrid.

do you know what hybrid means? geez... Dumb ass, it's a BOV, but because it' vents to the atmosphere and also can be tuned to also vent into the intake, it's a Hybrid, Also known as "BOV that vents to A and I." BPV strickly circulates. No stock auto comes with a BOV, that I know of anyway, and definetly not a WRX, SRT-4, STI, EVO, etc....

I dont understand you NOOBS most of the time. If you cant get a solid answer, why dont you simply pick up the phone and call a tuna?

Like i said i always get different answers no matter who i talk to, i figured this was the best place to get an answer since there are so many IX drivers on here. a tuner may know much but they don't necessarily know the correct answer thus i come here for answers. I already bought it anyways and will figure out an answer for myself.

Thanks All.
