View Full Version : TT Tuned... Big thanks!

Got the IX dyno'd yesterday at Tuning Tech... it was hotter than balls outside 97 degrees, and the tune was 91 octane.

Motor Mods:
TBE (Greddy Ti, +custom DP and TP)
Intake (AEM Short Ram)
Fuel pump (Walboro 255)
Blitz SBCI-D
GSC 280/280 (non s-1) cams

Overall 333.19whp and 319.24wtq, the car needed injectors and thats next on the list...

Its the little things that make a big difference and the crew at TT go out of their ways to make sure its taken care of. You really get what you pay for in both quality of the work and customer service they provide. The crew is very understanding of our work schedules and helps me work around that so I can still get in when I have an opening, and when your there, they make you feel like friends instead of customers. But none of that means didly if they don't provide what you pay for, luckily they always have for me. From clean and professional installs, to taking care of the little stuff like replacing a pop-screw, I wouldn't hesitate to go back or refer anyone.

But it'll be 20x times nicer when they get into that new shop....

I just got tuned myself from Alfred happy as can be.

Man, I'm stoked. I am taking my 8 over there on the 31st. I have catback, dp, aem cai, header, fuel pump, and mueller stage 2. Bought the Xede w/ smart the other month and finally have enough spending money to get the bung and tune.

Congrats bro! My girlfriend was there I think when your car was on the dyno. She was buyying me a bday present and said it was loud as hell! I can't wait to get my project started. The crew at TT are the best!

Mods and dyno sheet?


370 whp/330ish tq on 100 octane on tune with correct blow off valve. 91 tune on stock leaking blow off valve was low 300s if i remember correctly. Should make 320 + on 91 with new aftermarket BOV. Mods were basic bolt-ons with some after market exhaust Mani that was leaking. All these numbers are estimates to the best of my brain damaged abilities.

Congrats!! I am going there on Thur for Cosworth cams install and a retune...I am at 323whp and 311tq..I cant wait to see were i will be after the install and retune.I will keep you all posted.

I can recall watching cup size chunks of ice melt on intercoolers during the summer there. The heat sucks.

Nate is going on the dyno as I type. Predictions on WHP #s.
