After many failed attempts to go to TT I finally have an appt this friday for a tune. I just got everything in my car. I have the old GSC IX 280/280 cams, Valve springs and Chro-mo retainers, 1.2mm head gasket, APR head studs, walbro 255 pump, AMS fuel pressure regulator, AMS fuel rail, AMS 780cc injectors, Injen intake, Injen UICP & LICP, AMS FMIC, AMS motor and tranmission mount, HKS EVC Boost controller, HKS turbo timer,Â* All Invidia Turbo manifold, Turbo outlet, DP, TP, and Cat back. I'm hoping for 350+ HP. This seem like a fair goal? I'll post the graph when I get home this Fri night.

You will be in that vicinity but not guaranteed to be at 350+

Yea, sorry about that. Hope I didn't piss anyone off. I just had a lot of bad luck with parts coming in and actually working. Everything is done though, so rest assured, I'll be there Friday. Thanks for your patience Jenn.

It is going to be hard to follow today's act. 390+ whp on an Evo is sick, but I'm sure you'll do fine.

The car is being strapped down right now.

Smog ... is that 390+ on 91? Was it an Evo 9? What mods?

Got the Tune. Made 338 HP and 332 TQ. Not exactly what I was hoping for, but there is always room for more parts. Don't get me wrong, the car still hauls balls. I was very impressed with everyone at TT. The have great customer service. We had a problem with the parts and Alfred took the time to fix it personally. Thanks guys, you know I will be back. Sooner than my wallet should let me.Â* Â*

And Jenn, I'll get back to you next week for your sound project.

quick question: the gasket that you mentioned as a mod, does it lower or raise the CR on the car at all?.. since i notice you listed the thickness of the headgasket.

It raises the CR. not too much though.

So far it appears that the Cosworth cams on the stockish IXs are superior to the other cam options. Two cars on 91 octane have put down 350+whp and 330+ TQ with basic Bolt-ons. However, with such a small sample, more quantifiable empirical evidence is needed before we can say, without a doubt, the the Cosworth cams are superior.

One thing I was told abot the Cosi Cams that they have a real erratic Idle. Also, the current Cams that I'm running aren't meant for the stock turbo, they were designed for a larger turbo. Once that upgrade takes place, I should see some better numbers.
