So i have 8k miles on the car, i just did a tbe and the o2 sensor was impossible to get, i used liquid wrench ect. Now the o2 sensor threading is completely ruined and the sensor is useless for anything. would the o2 simulator work without a o2 sensor at all, or do i have to purchase a new sensor?

A mechanical O2 simulator is just an extended O2 sensor so that wouldn't work for you. I'm not sure if an electrical simulator would work either since it needs some signal, but hey, maybe its possible to eliminate it through a flash.

Still, if the only thing you swapped out was a catback, you really shouldn't be too worried about it triggering a CEL.

get the Perrin Electronic o2 Simulator. You can disconnect the rear o2 and it wouldn't trigger the light.
