1/4 mi. Drag Day at California Speedway

Anyone going to be going to California Speedway tomorrow to run their rides?... LB Grand Prix is this weekend too along with D1 Formula Drift I believe... but I think I'm going to hit up the Speedway. Gates open at 6 to the first 400 cars that arrive. $20 to run your car, $10 bucks to spectate..

gates open at 6AM to the first 400 cars, tech inspection to 7 racing starts at 9 am... I don't know how long they will let everyone run... the website does not say..

They usually run till around 4pm. I was going to take the Evo but ended up finding out that i have to work tomorrow. Dammnit!

Oh well. Maybe Next time, But tonight i'll be at the Perris 1/8th mile racing in the Evo so hopefully it'll be kool.

just got back from a fun day at the speedway... lots of fast cars... I on the other hand was dissapointed with what was going on...

This was my first time out to the track ever and my first time dragging the evo that I got in december(05' MR Stock)...

Best Run = 14.443 @ 95.40mph
r/t = .248
60' = 2.113
330 = 5.997
1/8 = 9.265
MPH = 75.75
1000 = 12.074
1/4 = 14.443
MPH = 95.40

I was running C12/91 pretty much half and half mix... I can't understand why I couldn't get the car lower as a stock evo should be running mid to high 13. kPa on the MR Turbo Gauge peaks out at 0.75 bars ... can that be right? I heard 1 bar is about 14 psi and that 1.4 bars is roughly 20psi... so does that mean the used evo I bought is running at like 10 psi give or take a few?? I need some help... beacuse the first drag I lost to a PT Cruiser by a 10th of a second... I missed shifting into third and had a weak launch but there are somethings in this world that just shouldn't happen!!

do you got any mods cuz if not there you dont need to be running c12 also if you got a cat on the car c12 if back for it only unleaded should be used also how was your launch did you bog did you have the stock 5 k rev limiter on cuz my first time at the track was 13.3 bone stock evo ix
