I drive an evo8. Anyways my starter went out so i went to the shop to get a quote. The shop guy told me it will be $150 for starter and labor would be $120. total $270 and he said he was going to give me 10% off and total was $243. I got a triple A and got it towed for free to local autoshop. But the price doesnt look right, cause they are not even a dealer. Usually dealers charge $88 dollar per hour.

I went online and did some research and Starter cost $120 at most, used go for $75.
also It takes less than 15 min to install the starter at most, with lift like 5 min. Its just 2 bolts and electrical power thing that you plug in.

hmm is he giving me a fair deal? should i go talk to him about it? he is charging me $120 dollars for a job that takes 2 bolts on and off.
