first run was a 13.4 with a passenger
fastest run was [email protected] with a poor 1.21 reaction time :2funny:
60' was 1.827 with alot of wheel spin off the line
ran pretty consistant thru the day . has been the first time actually taking the evo to the track not alot of people while i was there a few subis when i was leaving there was a few evo's pulling up
as for mods "drop in intake,2.75 DP, boost controller, fuel pump"

Reaction time has nothing to do w/ your E.T. FYI ...
Happen to have a tune with any of that? How bout a TBE?
Decent launch, decent time - esp @ LACR ...

lower your 60ft times, than you will lower your E.T's

i know about the r/t , its just a personal thing , no tune but is on the to do list, just a Tanabe DP. all my 60ft times were pretty consistant just had that little bit of slip off the line , ill see how it does in fontana someday.

If this was your first time out with the EVO at LACR, you must be a pretty good driver. Those are decent times for LACR. What makes it all the more imprezive is that this was your first time out. Usually newbies can't launch worth crap and end up with a 2.0 or higher sixty foot time and a >14.0 sec. ET. Good job.

thanks. i used to be a regular at lacr when i was still living in palmdale but i was more into the bracket racing when they had events for people in highschool with cash prizes. but it was colder than heck out there last nite and i think it helped a little i was suprised to be running that as well.
there was a STI out there running high 14's rolling off the start at probly 3000rpm :)
all in all it was a good nite.

Damn everyone is so freakin secretive...=(

BTW to the OP, you were able to get 1.8 60ft times with the stock launh control?

i wasent paying much attention to the launch control, actually just recently found out about it but i don't know how to use it . i was getting alot of wheel spin tho when i was launching...

So at what rpm did you launch at.

The stock one is set at 5k...so when you are at a dead stop, put the car into first, and then rev the motor it will not let you go past 5k no matter how much you floor it.

I had mine set to 5900-6k...and this help me get some real nice 60ft times. It also build boost at the line so it make your car faster imo

i tried that.... but i i let my clutch out at all it will rev up to hell ....i try to time the tree as im hitting the throttle so theres boost when i launch

** unless it got moved up when my friend got rid of the governor...even before that i dont rememeber hitting the 5k rev limit..

Nice times. Was there any wind? I assume you went last night. I wanted to go Wednesday night, but the wind advisories kept me away. I'll be there Saturday, they say that there's high chance for rain Friday.

i was running 1.5 bar with my avc-r the 13.4 was with a passenger and first run there. i would assume that anything under 1.5 would be safe for the street on a DD i usualy turn it down to 1bar on the streets to save gas :). what kind of 60ft are you running? .

and as for the wind.. there was tons of it and really really cold wind, but it didnt seem to affect anything to much not alot of people by the time i ran and went back in line there was litterally mabey 2 cars ahead of me, it was to cold for everyone i guess...good luck on sat .
