A word of advice.. Get a new bumper retainer from the dealer. This would have saved me a lot of time had I known this.

I have the most awsome numatic riviter, but you need a compressor to use it.

$108.

Just drill the heads of the rivets out. Its a pain in the ass but it can be done. I bought a riveter at Ace, and its a nice one for $20. Riveting them back in is easy. Drilling the rivets out a pain.

Also remember to pop the rivets out and redrill your license plate holder. Also be prepared to bend the crap out of the license plate holder to situate it properly.

Drilling the rivets and then picking them out was a pain and took awhile.

Nope got mine, the NICE one for $20.00. The had 2 others that were cheaper. This is the hand tool though. If I had seen one that hooked up to a compressor I would have been all over that. This was at Ace Hardware....

Big drill bit...just slightly smaller than the head of the rivet. 10mm and 12mm sockets. 10mm wrench. One long extension. Phillips head screwdriver. Some zip ties. Probably a second pair of hands...

wow, i thought my thread was dead since no one replied to it when i was installing the rear bumper.

i bought the craftsman one from sears for $17.99. it was the biggest pita to use, and my bro and i had a hard time. my palms are still a bit bruised from using it.

thanks to those who offered.
