i think those are the new ralliart rims.

overall, i hate the look of the car. this might work for current evo owners as the value of older models will be stable if these dont sell well. but considering that the newer sti's still sell with that ugly POS front end, who knows!? maybe ugly is the new clean.

from a performance standpoint though, i hope this car lives up to all the hype so people buy the car as enthusiasts of performance and not, "damn, that car looks nice" perspective.

I liked to see those rims in black on a white car :)

The front end looks better, but it still has that ugly wings west looking spoiler, and the dual exhaust is disgusting. And why did they ditch the headlight those were one of the best things on the new design.

Not sure if those will be production rims but according to MotorTrend the X rims will be made by BBS.

reading says 18x8.5 since it is 245/40/18 tires

pics suggest they're probably same as we have stock now

245/40/18s.. so maybe some 18x8-8.5
Wonder if the fenders could fit some 285/30/18 R-tires....

i personally think the X looks great.

but with the Evo's i dont care much about the looks - as long as the performance is there i'm sold :)

the new STi....500whp might be able to save it....then again maybe not :(

regardless of how each one of us think about the looks/performance of the upcoming evo X, there will most certainly be a market out there for it because of the cult following of the evo since it was born in the early 90's. for many, an evo is an evo regardless of it's roman numerical version and it's stying/performance. personally, i'll give the new evo design a two thumbs up. no comment yet though on it's performance. i'm looking forward to reading about its performance on car magazines and hopefully i can test drive it myself whether it be from someone that i know who will buy the car or from the dealership itself.... (but i doubt the latter)

The EVO X will come with ADVAN 245/45R18 as standard equipment. Too bad they aren't going to be NEOVAS

A little preview comparo between the STi and EvoX..
STi will be 200lbs less and 20hp/0.5 liter more...
