O0 Thanks guys for all the hard work yesterday. 101 degrees in the shop is no fun. Everything went together flawlessly. Car has mucho pull. I'll see if I can post up the dyno sheet soon for the all knowing forum guru's reviews. Keep in mind, I asked for a fairly conservative tune, it was 101 degrees in the shop, and I decided to put on a cataletic converter before I came in for tune ( tired of the smell/destroying the environment/ choking out people behind me in traffic).

Jen, I can't wait to get my super secret you know what. That is cool I get the first one!!!!! ;)

Very nice numbers. I'm sure you already know this, but a test pipe and a good efficient intercooler would put you in the 350's easy.

we compared different dynos, the main differance was the ambient temprature. Every other car that they had done ,was when it was 20 to 30 degrees cooler. Unfortunatly I get to be the first person w/ Cos cams tuned in 100 degree heat. O0

Danny: Congrats on the numbers. Glad everything worked out well for you. It was nice meeting you at the shop. Hopefully after I get my turbo issues worked out, I'll have a nice new dyno sheet to show off as well.

Intakes are overated IMO. The o2, no cat, in better conditions has him makin 350+.

No, I am ok with lower #'s. I am paranoind to have cops sniffing around my tailpipe, and I really feel guilty that I am part of the enviornmental problem.

I think better conditions will yield better results. Already have an 02.

On another note, the car acted really well to and from work today, the drivability is perfect, even in stop and go traffic.

So thinking that my #s were a little low for the mods I have due to heat and maybe exhaust issues, I decided to make a few changes and go back for a retune. Here are the results. went from 327whp/334tq, to 339whp to 356tq. O0

I took the HFC gutted it, then machined the inside of the end pipes, so that I could slide a 3" pipe through, then welded it in place. The reason I did this was to eliminate any turbulence that would happen inside the empty chamber.

nice! so no cat and better weather (I assumed) made 12 whp and 22 tq more.

one thing i have notice with the cossie cams are the great amount of tq they provided....
Im doing the samething like you are danny, and thats adding a few more bolt ons to the equation... need to get the car dyno to see the over all results the power band gives... great #s danny.... :)
