Undocumented Immigrants = Illegal Aliens

Bringing undocumented workers out of the Shadows = Giving a path to citizenship for illegal aliens

Probationary Status = automatic 'stay in the US free' pass while waiting on a path to citizenship. This does not require health screening (which is why diseases that haven't been present in the U.S. for the last 100-200 years are starting to crop up). All you must do is be an illegal alien present in the U.S. before January 1, 2007 (opening lots of fraudulent claims), submit 10 fingerprints, and a background check that will only deny you if you have had at least 1 aggravated felony or 3+ misdemeanors.

Z Visa = visa given to illegal aliens and only illegal aliens after the probationary status ends.

Getting at the back of the line = working in the U.S. while you await your citizenship, while people who applied for green cards after May 1, 2005 have to wait just as long as illegal aliens outside of the country for the same right.

Attrition through enforcement = taking away the job supply from illegals by enforcing current worksite laws, resulting in a return to their home country.

Y Visa = temporary worker visas.

Anchor Babies = Babies born to illegal aliens and other immigrants in the U.S. that are granted automatic citizenship that can be used to petition for residence of the family.

Chain Migration = when a legal permanent resident or other legal resident/citizen brings extended family members into the United States through preference categories that give more creedence to blood than skill.

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."
