Hi,
Can anyone recommend some reputable shops that can port and polish the exhaust manifold? O0 Finally starting to work my engine mods :).

you dont have to get another one...

just bring your car there and they have them there waiting for a new engine bay....lol

or you can buy one before hand....

but alfred told me they have a couple laying around that are ported already....

its a good, low pro mod....

Justin, go with WOT on this site, he does a great job and I believe he just moved to the San Diego area so he is close to you

I want to get it coated too, so I rather use one that no one is using and just give them my old one.

Thanks Sean, I'll hit him up and see what we can do from there.

Yeah Chris, use Aby (WOT), he's the man!

hey wkdevo, does your TB make a weird sound when you hit the throttle. The TB I got from WOT makes a HKS SSQ type sound, everytime I hit the throttle.

Did Dan talk to you about your manifold yet? :)

vortech_g35

huh? What about mine?

TeKiZeRo

I asked him to ask you if I could use your stock manifold to port/polish/coat and give you my stocker in return so I don't have any downtime.

When do you need it? It's still connected to my turbo back @ my parents house.

Just before August because that's when my tune date is. But the sooner the better so I can check off what I need and can get. By the way, do you have any needs for your stock airbox? :)

vortech_g35

I don't care, just tell my brother cuz he visits home often as I don't. No, I'm not using the stock airbox.

TeKiZeRo

I've been trying for the last month, but I don't know what he's doing. How much do you want for the air box?

vortech_g35

You don't have a airbox?

TeKiZeRo
06-04-2007, 03:00 AM
I have an air box, but I want an extra air box so I can cut open the sides and bottom to put on top of my intake for stealthiness :). I want to keep my other air box intact just in case.

I tried that out the other day, but you can still slightly see the intake if you look angle your head.

I'll think about it. I'm going back to stock in the beginning-mid of January. I want a New M3

TeKiZeRo
06-04-2007, 03:09 AM
Cool, thanks.

All that work just to go back to stock in a few months O_O. And a new M3?! Baller.

New M3 or GTR. Since I work for Nissan North America, I might get a good deal (probably not), but I know people @ BMW. The Evo is fun, but I think I want some class :D.

TeKiZeRo
06-04-2007, 03:14 AM
How about the Evo AND M3/GTR? :D

vortech_g35

I was thinking of making a track only car, but I need a down payment on the new car. I don't think I can afford $1500/mth car payment or just don't want to. Maybe I'll opt for a R34, if I can get one for around $50k.

TeKiZeRo
06-04-2007, 03:27 AM
I would get the R34 over all your choices :D. Except I don't think those are legal? I'm not sure.

vortech_g35
06-04-2007, 03:30 AM
I would go out of state to purchase one. It would be hard to legalize, but it would be worth the trouble. Just have to modify the doors and such to meet safety standards.

TeKiZeRo
06-04-2007, 03:32 AM
True true. Make you you don't forget to give me a ride in it when you get it :D :D :D.

vortech_g35
06-04-2007, 03:41 AM
Thinking about it. Man I could make my Evo so nice with the money, but even if I got the slowest R34, I would get more looks.

TeKiZeRo
06-04-2007, 03:43 AM
That's true. If I were in your shoes I'd probably pay off the Evo if you still owe money on it, and get the R34 down the line. That would be one sick AWD garage.

That's it! I'm going to Japan next year. Damn it's almost 4, I got work at 8.
