So I decided to try the stuff out. It's $6.99 a gallon for 76 100 octane "racing fuel". Pulled up to the pump, put in $66.00 in gas (or about 3/4 a tank of gas) and waited for the results... :2funny:

And the results...

Nothing noticeable power wise, the engine seems to idle/run smoother, and my gas mileage is awesome! I've only wasted about 1/4 tank of gas since friday night~! O0 And I daily my car!

The 76 I got the gas from has it available at the pump, it's right on the CORNER of Commonwealth and Gilbert in Fullerton. Next to the Fullerton airport.

Just thought I would share.

You need a boost controller and a tune to take advantage of 100+ Octane...

I heard that it's not a good idea to run 100 octane if your car is stock. Is that true ?

i would assume that it causes carbon to build up faster than normal....

thats why you mix it. i usually do 3/4 91 and 1/4 100 should give 93 or there abouts...
