View Full Version : Anyone in the South County area hear this Friday afternoon?

Did anyone hear a very loud sonic boom type boom over OC on Friday afternoon? Like loud enough to shake your windows and such.

My wife heard it in Tustin and oddly enough, my mom heard the exact same thing in TEMECULA around the same time. It was loud enough to rattle windows and plates on the counter in both locations. I was thinking it was just sonic booms from jets or some meteor exploding once over OC and once over Temecula area...

It was from the shuttle landing here. It rocked my office in Moreno Valley pretty well, but at first we just thought that the fat lady upstairs fell down again.

Oh and that podcast link rocks sir :-)

Yup hear it everytime it lands in CA, usually two load bams.
