Is anyone willing to help me drill a hole in my exhaust manifold for an EGT probe? I dont have the tools or the technical expertise, so I'm looking for a friendly fellow Evo- owner to help me out. Hopefully the weekend of July 7-8 or July 13-14!
Thanks

where do you live?

Obviously somewhere in the O.C.

I'd recommend going to Road Race, Tuning Tech, or MFQ Motorsports. Whichever is closer to you.

You can PM them...they are a vendor on here. Â*MFQ MOTORSPORTS is their SN. Â*They are located in Burbank BTW.

Where in Irvine are you located? I need to get mine done too, but do not want to tap the manifold since the popo likes to write tickets and the ref will not pass you if the mani is tapped.

Thats not true, I went to the ref with my manifold tapped and no hassle.Â* You cant get a ticket for gauges only modifying your emissions!

I tapped my manifold with help from MFQ Motorsports.

I failed my recent trip to the ref for having a boost gauge. yes, they will fail you on the visual for tapping into a stock line. I guess you were lucky.

WOW, that sucks.Â* The only lines that the ref was concerned with for me was the vacuum lines that go from the boost solenoid to the wastegate.Â* He did not look at any of the lines near my intake manifold.

Maybe i was lucky, i even had my 264/272 cams in and 660 injectors. I left my espelier catback exhaust too but put the silencer in. Of course my injen carb legal intake and uicp was still in too. HAHA!
