You can try F1Motorsports in NoHo. Â*They have their own painting shop next doors and do quite a lot of what you're looking for. Â*Painting CF hoods for Bimmers and leaving parts exposed as carbon fiber.

Yeah, the paint shop is located like 2 shops down. Â*It's where they were housing the F430 for a while.

You need to bump it up to stage 2. That includes buying a salvaged ride and fixing it up to balling status while living in the 1 room apartment behind of Glendale Mitsubishi!

Thanx Kimletrim... I just talked to Sean, and I'm gonna check out his car to see how his sideskirts looks today. I didnt get a quote yet. He wanted to see what he would be workin w/. He drives an evo too guys... nuthing like bringin an evo to another evo owner! I spoke to someone @ f1motorsports and they quoted me @ $750 and was talkin about blending my fenders??? I think thats a lil much, considering the hoods is going for $560 picked up.

When you hear the term "$50.00 Paint Job" .. That means rollers and thinned out Rustoleon paint!

$700 is definitely too much. It should be around 3-400 for a nice job. At least that's what Khiem's cousin is charing in the San Gabriel Valley to paint Vorsteiner carbon fiber hoods for the Bimmers.

So I went down there and he actually persuaded me to take another route... He said he tried doing his cf hood and didnt come out very well. I expect perfection or atleast close to it, and if it cant be done (semi-perfect) I dont wanna waste money... He seemed like a nice guy, and his ride was tight, but he didnt seem very confident in the shops ability to handle cf! I know cf is a lil tricky, but it should be able to be done... Ive seen a photo of exactly what I want on evom, and looks great, but the pic is not a close up so... I guess I will look around...or just get rims...idk
