>:( so i was driving down the 14 to glendale from the antelope valley. it was around 10 in the morning so it was conjested of course. and this idiot driving a dark blue Toyota corolla was haulin. decided to go on the left hand side of the car pool lane and threw up rocks onto mine as well as my buddys evo and everyone around us. once i noticed he cracked my window we chased him down. got on the phone with the chp gave them the location and plates of the vehicle. after that we backed off from keeping up with him. i then asked the lady about wheather i would receive a call if he was stopped? SHE TOLD ME NO WE DONT DO FOLLOW UPS. what the hell is that all about so now your telling me i have to pay for a new windshield before I'm cited by one of your officers. well next time ill handle it myself and not call in.

but my question is, is there anything that i can use to keep it from spreading more than it has?

second thing is Ive seen that car around town alot :knuppel2: hope hes on vacation long enough for me to cool off

my guess is to roll down your windows if you park your car in the sun so pressure doesn't build up inside the car and dont wash your car in the heat.

dude (OP) just call your insurance company. if you have comprehensive coverage on your car, it covers glass breakage.

With my ins. Co. they will freeze the crazk and fill it for free.

call your ins. co., pay your comp deductible, and be done with it. It doesnt affect your rates.

PM me if you have any insurance questions , im licensed in the state of CA.

do that...it'll help prevent the crack from going from a crack the size of a dime to covering 75% of the windshield in length.
