Does anyone received a letter from Mitsubishi that you were randomly selected to participate in a program (emission testing) that are aimed the air quaility? They were introducing the California Environmental Engineering (CEE) to be the partner of the emission that will be held at Cypress testing lab. In addition, the vehicle will be tested indoors on a dynamometer and driven stimulating normal driving conditions. It will take 7-10 working days, however, they have some benefits like a use of a late model vehicle, $100 when returned, delivery of vehicles at home or work place.

Anyway, i just wonder if you guys would interest on these such programs.

Thanks!

they wouldnt want to use a new evo with 4 miles on it. im guessin they might put 100+ miles on your car since it says "unlimited". late model = lancer i bet lol

its a way to get a better idea of what ppl are doing to evos after they buy them..... nothing is free gentlemen/ladies.... there is more to it than just taking your car and giving u 100 bucks... heck if i wanted to do my part for the ozone.. i wont use a test pipe... if they wanted to do a real test.. they would test fit your car with things that gauge your emissions...

what a rip off - when I had my ford lightning, I received an 'offer' like this - but they only wanted to keep the truck for ONE day - offered me $400 AND a full tank of gas...I said no way - my truck was modded and I'd be darned if anyone was going to 'play' with my truck. No way. Same answer with my car...there is NO way anyone would get a chance to play with my car.

I got that letter, too. They also offer a "first class" car wash.... I'd do it but its too many days, plus I don't think mods on the evo would be so environmentally friendly. I'm going to pass on this one. Maybe they think it's your "stock" evo; they don't specify. If they want a stock one it's going to be hard to find.
