Just looking for any places that are open till like 11-midnight. I've been to one spot in hong kong plaza in west covina that is open to like 3am, but other then that everywhere else seems to close at 8-10.

Any places you could reccomend that aren't to bad when i need a late night fix??

haha one day maybe, I drive a v-dub :D, probably wondering why im on here, i don't know either hahah i just have this site bookmarked heh

did you attend the summer session? because I think i saw your car in the parking structure on the corner of hill and that other street, if not it must have been someone else haha.

yeah this is my first sem, i went in the summer also to take engl 1A, taking 5 classes now though :D.

and yeah amen on the girls, lots of snow bunnies for me everywhere :smitten:

how do you like pcc?

ev0ninerr
09-03-2007, 09:44 PM
lol it's koo. a lot of people on here don't have theirs yet, all good. and nah i didn't attend summer, i drive a black evo btw, the only black one in school.

what school did you come from? i'm probably only going to take like two or three this sem. then in the winter i'll be at cal poly. i'm also doing the oxford program at pcc so spring i'll be over there. i'm a transfer from arizona state that's why.

pcc wise, the only real reason why i go to class are because of the girls. everything else, it's koo. lol. how are you acclimating to pcc?

did anybody hear about that dude that got killed jay walking on garfield on friday? I went to my orthodontist and about 200 yards was taped off, had to sneak around~ r.i.p.

ev0ninerr
09-16-2007, 06:12 AM
garfield fri.... i was in arcadia, but not even my friend that lives in monterey park knows about it. that sucks. on my way home on the 210w about 4 a.m. i was stuck there for 20 minutes in my car. a civic lost control and skid all the way to the divider. the front end was smashed in really bad. no ambulance though, so it looked like the guy just walked out, ftw.

btw, the kitchen is a good place to eat on valley and garfield. parking's horrible though.

1
09-18-2007, 12:30 AM

ev0ninerr
09-18-2007, 04:42 AM
the 210 is unforgiving at some parts. if you're talking the 5 though. i've brought my bone stock 95 integra to 130 max on that freeway for like 2 minutes at 210k miles.

1
09-19-2007, 02:04 PM
yeah up above 5 it is a bit windy but coming back it's like 1 long strip, i've driven it once going to santa clarita and back, but daily i just drive from covina to pasadena~

the hat on valley and garfield also. closes at 1. lol, i'll keep adding more and more, i've started to "live" down there again.

pasadena? i'm usually around arcadia, monterey park and san marino. if you see a gg evo ix, a tb ix, sometimes a silver or white ix all together, that's the arcadia/626 kids. ahaha.

Not bad... but have u tryed coconut bay... the owners split up and i guess one created coconut bay. its off of nogales.. and u can see it on the 60fwy. If your on the 60W then its on the right side.. if your on the 60 east then its on the left side. They are JUST like banana bay except one thing. If your under 21... order an alcoholic beverage and see what they do :D hahaha.

Also if any of you go clubbing in hollywood, theres this really good korean place to eat afterwards and they have good prices. Its called hodori and its located in K-town. They are open 24/7.

I went to this place in rosemead called "AU72" I think it's like a tea house but everyone comes there to play cards until 1am or w/e. It's really good drinks but really shitty service, anyone know of any other tea houses that stay open late that have good tea?

when did your friend get stabbed? is he ok?

07-16-2008, 12:37 PM
This was a few weeks ago, my friend is ok. He was stabbed in the arm so it wasn't too bad I think.

Funny thing is that you no longer goto JR but that place has been chill for like 2-3 years now lol... I do remember when that place was full of aznthugs tho.

07-16-2008, 12:42 PM
cool cool.

i was at sunday's on july 3rd after clubbing. it was crawling with cops. there were like 3 cruisers parked like right in front of sunday's.

half the reason i don't goto jr's is i can't get my car into the driveway, lol. sunday's parking is chill.

Terenus

Sunday's parking sucks during the day though. Stupid market and Subway takes up everything.

Yea!

You went far for a canyon run. Do you usually have problems with cops?

coredump
07-16-2008, 02:56 PM
this particular canyon, no.

i usually avoid the "rookie" canyons because it's crawling with cops. the more technical/advanced/obscure canyons don't have cops. among my years of running canyons, only been hassled once by cops (front plate ticket).

i like driving my car. lol.

I was talking to this guy I know, and he says the basic milk tea comes in a big jug(like a gallon of milk I suppose??). I asked him what kind of market might have it if I wanted to buy one and he said to try looking for a taiwanese market in SG, or that it might be exclusively purchased from the manufacture?. so does anyone know of a market that I might find this?

there is one on rosemead in san gabriel blvd. personally i enjoy some of the asian spots in alhambra. always wanted to try those cafe spots but they seem shitty. like why would you name your place "ok cafe" if its just ok why the shit would i wanna eat there? theres already a few evo guys that go to the spot on valley and 1st st in alhambra. foods good. 12 dollars u get a fillet mignon and noodles and all kinds of food. asian culture doesn't put much emphasis on steaks so its cheap however it is very good.

found this place on San gabriel and mission right by the rail road tracks, called Indian...its not the 7-11 Indian type of Indian, its the Chief Sitting Bull type of Indian, but it serves typical asian cafe food, (ie, KT, JJ, Face, etc). And the waitresses all dress like pocahontas...and they serve beer...and they open till 2AM ish

In Little Tokyo there is Daikokuya on 2nd street. Japanese black pork ramen for about $10 and they're open till about 12am every night.
Orochon in the Weller Court shopping centre, spicy ramen for about the same price.
For people with money there is the Honda-ya Izakaya in the Little Tokyo shopping center down the street. They serve good skewers and beer if you're okay with spending $20+ for a nice time.

In Arcadia there is also EE Convenience store that sells asian food and drink on Baldwin next to the Ihop.
There is also a Phoenix Inn across the street that is open late as well.
There is also a taco truck located at the corner of Rosemead and Duarte that serves a decent taco at a reasonable price as well.
There is also Oto-oto Izakaya on Huntington Drive near the on/off ramp to the 210 that has decent food but like Honda-ya, it's pricey.
