As most of you know i am running the TT 2.3L with the TT 35r kit, TT full 3" exhaust, on 1000cc inj.. TTFLASH STOCK ECU.. etc etc

on pump i am making 415awhp @ 21.5 lbs of boost..

i keep a steady watch of my mpg, and i am yet to run a full tank w/o messing around....

since the tune, i am consistantly running 21.6 mpg, with the occasionaly bad batch running 19mpg (only happend twice)

i am surprised and very happy with this! 91 oct 415awhp and still get to mess around, getting me usually 250+ to the tank? crazy.

i would have to say i do about 65% freeway driving, which still isnt bad considering the mods i have...

all in all, stock ecu ftw, GREAT TUNE ALFRED, all in all, still very happy with the way my car is running.. although, may want to swith to recirculating bov, just to be more stealthy...

ps. havent done a race gas mpg, because i cant afford a full tank of c16.. lol and it wouldnt last long anyways..

I have 780 cc injectors with a gt30 i get approx 200 a tank... tuned by alfred also....

250 to the tank would be around 17-19 mpg... so not too bad... 14 gallon tanks ftw!.. lol

last time i went for a long trip i filled up took off.... then filled up again... divided the miles i drove by how many gallons it took to fill back up to the top... i ended up getting 17mpg.... lol so.. blah..

still love my car though....

well you have to remember that 250 to the tank, i'm not going to be exactly all the way on empty.. u usually end up filling up 12 gallons (only once have i reached 13.8 gallons, and i dont remember my mpg, i was too worried on making it to the gas station..)

i think my car just got lucky, same deal with SMOGRUNNERS car, he gets about the same gas mileage i get...

I can't keep my foot off the pedal during daily driving, but I still get 18 or 19 mph. I started a thread a while back where I got 25mph during some hwy driving with my 2.3, 35R, and big injectors.

i dont see how the mileage you guys get is surprising.

with the given mods, there is less effort needed to get up to speed so holding a consistent speed on the high especially w/o boost and without major load, your car should get very good mileage.

well you know me tom, and even with a heavy foot i'll see 20 mpg :)

j, i'm basing this "good mileage" thread on the fact that many people (at least out here in the temecula/murrieta area) are complaining on their gas mileage to be around 16-19 mpg? considering the fact that we have almost 2x the inj size, i think it's pretty good.. (and yes, i know that the injector is never @ 100 percent duty cycle, but neither are the stock injectors.)

people that complain about bad mileage have either a bad tune, a heavy foot, or both.

got 25 mpg on 750cc's GT28R turbo 21psi

went back to stock turbo....
got 27.5 mpg with 10.5 housing, 272's, 750cc

usually fill up when the light goes on at 12 gallons used. almost always had 240 miles on the GT28R and im going over 300 miles on stock turbo

turbolarry tuned. SAFC. he says im still runing rich ;)
on stock turbo, i can get 25 mpg 75% freeway, taking advantage of every onramp and interchange, the Robispec coils are just so much fun
