A friend and I from work both got copies of the SE Halo 3 disks. They are both scratched. Looked online and this is a big problem. Watch out for it.

Im just saying....just buy the regular retail version, or tilt the box several times to listen for disks rolling around inside the tin case. there are several small books inside that will make sliding noise, you can tell the difference between the books sliding and disks hitting the tin.

Yeah mine is also but it has a couple of surface scratches. I dont think its gonna affect the game. Im wondering if I should take it back and get a different one.

Take it back because it'll get worse later on.

So i went to walmart and had them open 46 Halo special editions trying to find me a not scratched one. I opened mine to compare and mine didnt have scratches it was dust cause when I looked at it in good light I couldnt see shit. I told him never mind and left. So now they have 46 Halos that they cant sell. Oh well at least 46 people wont get screwed.

You can go back and ask them to swap your disc with a regular version.
Or I believe MS knows the problems and have forms somewhere for those to fill out.

But either way, it is a hassle.

Yea you can send the disks to microsoft and they will give you a good one through their return program until Dec 31. But who wants to sit around and wait to get it back??

Actually sounds like a good idea. Only thing stopping you are lazy ass 20 year old employees like everyone at EB Games
