Ok so I don't have to tell everyone how great Alfred, Jenn, and his team is. They always impress everyone with their service and knowledge. Tuning Tech replaced the RnR 35R kit I had with the TT 35R kit and Meth. I can't tell you all how overly excited and impressed I am with the outcome. I want to Thank the whole team at Tuning Tech for a great job well done, Alfred your a genius, Jenn thanks for all your help, and thank you to the team for doing such a great job. Since I can't explain how great it is heres a pic I took today. 468whp on 91oct with Meth injection

Damn, now thats a stealth kit! O0

I wanna see someone do the TT turbo kit without the whole stealthiness. I remember how badass it looked on Alfred's car.

So was there any actual performance increase switching kits or was it done for the stealth factor?

wow thats really sweet to hear u had a great experience with TT i was actually just there for my evo 9 and i've known alfred since they opended up and he really is a genuis/ pro... but hey.. umm since i have a little extra cash.. my car is only at 3 k right now.. made 320 whp with basic bolt ons.. but i was realling thinking of going for the gt30 r thier turbo kit.. do you think that wud be reliable for daily driver?? honestly and wud i be happy of the power it will make me?

Alfred got a GT3076 on his 8 on the last time I saw him. It's daily driven too (even though he doesnt live far from the shop) hehe

does TT have a pricing for these kind of setups i wanna check it out

Thanks

Last time I heard was$4400 for the GT30, and $4600 for the GT35 (dunno if they changed the prices and dunno if they have those prices installed too. So u might wanna double check with them)

I believe those prices would include installation, but the best thing to do would be to just call 961 783 1200.

Hey guys, I pretty much went with the kit for the stealthiness. I love Tuning Tech, there product and service are incredible. Like Oscar said its very hard to tell what the difference in power between the two, however quality is top notch on both kits. I would like to say that I felt a little quicker spool time due to I'm sure the manifold, however it is hard to say with the meth. I couldn't be happier, I will tell you this much I wish I went with this kit first. Can't find my dyno's right now, if I remember correctly I saw a 80whp increase from the RnR kit on 91 to TT kit on 91 w/meth.... VIVA LA TUNING TECH

lol, yea, that TT kit spools up quick. We tuned another costumer today with a TT turbo kit. It's a GT3076R. It made 393 whp and about 302 wtq on straight 91. Full spool was accomplished at 4200 rpm :-o. No race gas was done on this one. Hopefully Smoggy will post the graph soon.

It's been raining TT kits in Colton as of late!!! We're runing out of inventory!!! :2funny:

IIRC, that car last nice made 394whp and 313ish wtq. As everyone already knows, big turbos on 91 don't give you the huge torque hump early, but the torque lasts longer and stays higher than stock turbos.

This is a quote from another post from TT* O0

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's True It's true!!

We have had this kit in development for some time now and have come full circle. The turbo kit is 100% done and is ready for the public.

Tuning Technologies GT3076R DBB Turbo Kit

We want to build and tune cars that are fast, well rounded and most importantly, reliable. Many people now drive their Evo’s on a daily basis. Whether it be to and from work or just some canyon runs on the weekend, the most important thing is enjoying the car!

This turbo kit was designed with big power, stock looks and stock reliability as priorities.

The exhaust manifold at a glance looks like a standard Stainless tubular manifold but upon closer inspection you will see that it’s not. It is hand made from Schedule 40 Stainless pipe and is guaranteed against cracking. The manifold looks great with or without the heatshield on. If you opt to not get the heatshield the manifold is in the open for everyone to gawk at
Its short runner design is to decrease spool up time and also allows us to incorporate the stock airbox and heatshield.

I think Mitsubishi had it right using Aluminum in the stock OEM piping. Understand the importance of Aluminum piping in your boost system. It releases heat very easily and is very lightweight. All piping here is bead rolled at the ends to prevent blowoff’s.

The Intake is made of 3” mandrel bent aluminum and then hand welded. It can be setup as a solid piece (VTA) or it can have the recirculation port for your BOV for a small fee. It has been designed to work with your existing OEM airbox and MAF location.

The lower intercooler pipe is made of 2.5” mandrel bent Aluminum and is a two piece design.

The turbo itself is a standard Garret GT3076R Dual Ball Bearing turbo. We decided to utilize Garrett’s widely known yet seldomly used true 3” hotside. Most other kits utilize the old style 5 bolt housing which is nowhere near 3”. Our kit is a true 3” system from the exhaust turbine to the downpipe. No one can claim this. All this and it is still miles from you’re A/C compressor.
The compressor housing is the large 4” anti-surge inlet AKA the ‘K’ cover.

Lastly is the downpipe. It is 3 inches wide with a built in flex section. Also it's completely removeable so if you need to access the underside of your motor you dont have to remove the turbo to do so.

The fittings for the coolant feed and return are all top quality A/N push-lock fittings with aluminum washers. They will need to be cut to length but are push-locks so it’s easy as they literally push on. The oil feed is stainless –3 line with the proper oil feed restrictor at the turbo. It is shielded with insulation to protect it from the manifolds heat. The oil return to pan is also all A/N flanges and fittings with push-locks for the line.

Also, a slimline fan is included.

All couplers, bolts, nuts, crush washers, gaskets and clamps are included. No need to go to the hardware store on this one.

All R&D, testing and tuning was done on my 2003 shop Evo. The motor has been well kept and has over 50K on the clock. The car is equipped with:

Stock ECU
Stock block
Stock Throttle body
Stock Head
Stock Intake box, filter and snorkel
Stock Ignition
Stock Cam Gears

TTech GT3076R Turbo kit
TTech Custom Flash
3inch TBE
Walbro 255 Fuel pump
Denso 720cc injectors
HKS 264 Int. and Exh. cams
Nisei Street Intercooler
Nisei UICP
Tial 50mm BOV

Pump gas at 22 psi

Race gas at 32 psi

http://www.solisstyle.com/ims/pic.php?u=5031MrDhN&i=67318

As of now the kit has made one trip to the dragstrip. It competed at Battle of the Imports in Fontana this year and ran three times. The best time was 11.6 at 120 mph. This is with a Hi-flow cat on the car, the small cams and before I tuned it to this power level today. This is on street tires on 18x9.5 wheels. We are excited to get it back to the strip and get some low 11 second passes.

If you have any questions feel free to contact us, we are here to help.

Good stuff

Yes 100% meth, the standard snow performance nozzle and tank.
