Not everyday is clear just remember that when driving this road. A lot of cyclists like to cross the yellow line and so do the motorcyclists. I think you guys should avoid the road that takes you down to Glendora because the cops there like to give imports a hard time every time they see one. I say carry a camera and say you were taking pictures if you happen to run in to some cops, though I think the crowd of Evos wouldn't let this excuse work. Just remember STAY IN YOUR LANE.

The most difficult part of the suspension to tune is the wheel spacer, it is the part that occupies the space between the steering wheel and driver's seat. ;)

My experience going up there in the rain/mist/ sleet and snow.....

I don't recommend going up there...I'll pass.... I went up on some bald RA1s two winters ago..... :buck2: hittin ABS and four wheel slides at 20mph on some black ice....not good! It was a sweaty palm white knuckle ride... these pics are of the Mt Baldy side...I litteraly got "stuck" I could not turn around the snow banks where too high for the Evo to turn around... I finally found a place where some trucks and cars had smashed the snow down enough for me to make a U-turn....but there where patches of black ice and a few times I thought I was gonna go sideways right into the mountain.....

Last year I went up there in similar conditions.... I ended up eating some retaining wall after hitting a patch of ice...again on RA1s...but they where full tred :buck2: and I was going pretty slow too... (don't have pix...but I needed a new bumper skin and a new headlight after that fiasco :buck2:

I have to agree with Angela here. A year ago, I went up there during a misty morning with the roads still wet and those 4-wheel drive drifts are no joke...even at low speeds. If the weather does not cooperate this weekend, I'm going to have to pass as well. There will be other times...safer times...

Maybe after the storm, the snow will still be there for a spectacular mountain view on the mountain and not on the roads.
