so ya y is it that i can find alot of info and what not on the focus and mini in the newest season of street tuner challenge but not the evo?!! :idiot2:

maybe alfred can tell us a little of whats going on here, and maybe give some insite on how he got picked to touch this car out of all the evo socal tuners :grin:

Oh sweet I was watching that show the other night!!! I am glad TT gets to tune the car!!!! But nice pics and good find!!!! Damn wish I would have been there that day!!

That is going to be the most lopsided challenge ever...A focus????!?!?!?!? I know you can make any car fast...but you gotta have a base right? A focus. And a Mini??? i dont know. A proven street legal race car vs 2 cars built for street.

It's not that lopsided. A Chevy Cobalt beat a Skyline last time.

Those guys turned their camber plates into caster plates! They made some crazy strut towers to adjust camber too.

Those guys turned their camber plates into caster plates! They made some crazy strut towers to adjust camber too.

If im am right...the skyline ran faster times with a driveshaft messed up...something like that.

One of the most important things to remember about this competition is that scores are based on "the most improved % over stock". So those low hp, ill handling cars stand to do very well if they are built right.

I cant say too much right now but this competition is going to be FUN, stay TUNED for more!!

like no joke dude u where all happy when u got to work on that car!! u where bouncing around like a little puppy it was funny but ya man keep up posted!!!

P.S. im glad ur cool with the car being seen. because a while ago me and my friend went to ABD when they had there GTI for the second season of strret tuner challege and they where being jerks about pics and what not :-(!!!

I think they're 6 pots, but they might be 8. They look similar to the front brakes on the new GT-R.

I caught most of it, they were installing all Seibon (hood, 4 doors and trunk) on the Evo.

OKAY, WAIT A MINUTE...the engine bay is black....the car on the show is RED...how the hell did they paint the engine bay without removing everything....??? :-o

in the beginning when they first bought the evo 9 rs, the guy (forgot his name) that is bald witht the go tee, said yea out of all the "evo 8's" the rs would be the best choice...haha i thought that was funny....

^^ Yeah, we proved that wrong 2 years ago when it finished last in a comparison with the GSR and MR. I guess it depends on what you want to do with it, but for certain types of competition it's not the best choice.
