My screen name has haunted me since my FD went up in a blaze.

Now I see the flames working their way up toward the crest of the hills around me.
Time to get the cars moved out....maybe the wife and kid too.

n e 1 else in the 909 affected by this?

It's voluntary now. The winds are dying down and I've been told the blaze has shifted to a different location.
Things will go my way (or away from me in this case). Most of the cars have been moved and critical items are loaded into the remaining ones. Phones are by the bed waiting for another automated "get the F out" message. Kyle is at Grandma's so there's nothing left to do but play the waiting game.

Actually, I do. But it requires a garage.
If you have room, come take it.
