Might be the last one to find out but apparently there is a radar detection system that is totally invisible (no bulky box units) to the user...and operated by remote with sensors all around your car...if you get a speeding ticket with the actual speed you were going at on the ticket itself....your ticket is paid for GUARANTEED!....the catch 1800 bucks....i know Safe & Sound in Canoga Park installs them.

They might pay your ticket, but who's gonna pay when your insurance rates go up?

You're kidding right? $1800 ?! Read the fine print because it probably says that they will pay for your first ticket after purchasing the device. Also, how many cops right the actual speed on the ticket? They usually give you a "break" and put 40 instead of 46 etc.

Nope, this is bs and this company is going to make a lot of money from people stupid enough to actually purchase this crap. Just get a V-1 and call it a day.

very true...just impressive how a company stands behind a product of this nature with such confidence...probably the best detection system out there.

apparently no fine print...talked to the guys at Safe & Sound who have installed them on a lot of Porsche's and exotics...if a cop is using a radar and clocks you...which they usually do on the highway they always will right the digits on the ticket...

It is crap and Rocky Mountain Radar is crap too. See Radar Roy or Guy of Lidar, I am too lazy just google them.
In fact don't pay much mind to any Petersen publication regrading radar, I think the story is on Guys of Lidar.
Escort 8500/9500 or V1, if you have to speed they are cheaper than the tickets.
The V1 is not much help in the city, too many false alarms.
It has saved me from a couple of silly tickets like middle of nowhere flat straight nothing highways.
