I have two 6.5" replacements for the rears as it looks like they're paper speakers. Is it safe to say the fronts are better quality since they're components? Or are they paper too? How do they sound when connected to an amplifier?

Or should I just buy a set of components for the front also?

Thanks!

You changed out the rears but didn't change out the fronts? Wouldn't it make more sense to change out the fronts first?

I haven't changed anything yet. This is tonight's project. The rears I got free which is why I was asking about the fronts.

Yeah, construction paper speakers all around. You gonna be putting in a full system? The speakers will sound better than normal if you amplify them but than you will run into the problem of pumping to much power into them and that will definately tear the construction paper. Don't run them to high and you will be fine.
