thats why mine is at HB right now.....

i had an safc2 with a street tune.......

that code is most likely in the tranny.......thats the first place they look....

it no big deal untill you need to smog it......or you hit 60k and the warranty runs out.....

I have the same problem...but my check egine light turns on when i am at 2700 rpm and my cars is goin 55 mile..ones in a while..but my cars also tune.. :buck2:

This is Common on all Evo IX with cossie cams! I've seen lots of post on evoM about this!

I got the p300 code after i installed the cams and got tuned... Gave naji a call the next day since he tuned my car prior to it happening... He lowered my Timing on my Idle i believe...and it hasnt come on since! its been over 2000 miles!
