Willow Springs Track Day 11-14-07

[WTF EVO]

Well, yesterday was the first time I was finally able to take the car to the track. I raced at Willow Springs (big) Track and it was just awesome! The sun was shining a slight cool breeze blowing and my Evo was hauling ass. The suspension (JIC - Mullereized) was the best part. My EVO stuck to the track like I was on rails all day long. You see in the picture a 350Z, Audi A4, Porsche and MB behind me and that's when we started. By the end of the session I was at least 6-7 cars length in front of them. The Audi had a passenger, that I saw in my review mirror, that kept hand motioning to the driver on where to drive the car. I was LOL. Lap after lap, I just kept pulling away a little every time. Anyway, for those of you who need suspension work and haven't decided which way to go, this should easily answer that question for you. I like to say thanks to the crew at Muller for an awesome job.
Can't wait till the next track day. O0 OBTW, I was the ONLY EVO there yesterday.

Flip, had a blast! Thanks for the use of the tools, they worked out great.
As far as the class some where beginners and others where intermediate. Kinda mixed by the end of the day.

The fastest I was able to go into turn 9 was 105 mph in 5th. Exiting turn 9 into the front straight I
was doing about 85 in fourth. Man, that was one bitchen day! O0

Cost: $160 (race day $200)

That includes a barbecue lunch and shirt. They put on a really great event.
Hopefully we can get some more Evo's out there then last time.
