so ive been trying to get the damn LG Voyager by verizon for the last 2 weeks... and i finally got it today for my B-day....
never used the Iphone but they call this the Iphone killer and i believe it.. O0
anyone else using this phone? their pretty sickkkkk

i just went to the verizon store in irvine and ordered through them... it worked better because it shipped out the next day!
i ended up cutting ahead of all the people who preordered them online and are waiting till the 10th to get them lol

The only problem with it is that it is not MS Exchange compatible....That will kill it for business applications.

hmm not sure... anyone know if the internet on it counts as airtime minutes? because i just got the phone, didint sign up for any plan for internet... but i can stilll use the internet... its pretty sweet lol

Watch out people I went into a 4G Verizon Wireless.Â* Thety are just a vendor and get everything last.Â* I placed an order for the phone like 2 weeks before it came out and they told me that I should have it the day it comes out. that didnt happen!Â* plus the chick in there was trying to see if I was dumb enough to pay 5 bills for it.Â* Cancelled my order, had my mom purchase the phone off the internet!Â*( on a family plan, and Moms is the Primary) With my upgrade I payed $238 and was shipped out in 1 day!Â* cant beat that!!!Â* Anyways, my opinion on the phone...Â* I never saw or played w/ the IPHONE, but this phone kicks ass!Â* The touch screen isnt a pain in the ass, like my GF's Chocolate, everything is fairly simple!Â* 10 out of 10 in imho!

It uses basic internet so it will burn your minutes. The only way it will not burn your minutes is if you have a date plan which will run you about another 50 bucks a month and is only avaliable on their pdas/blackberries and it is required when purchasing a blackberry/pda. I have verizon wireless and my sister works for verizon wireless but I think verizon wireless can suck my cack. they always get everything last and by the time it is released, it is overpriced and outdated. I usually always have a pda but they have been such a PITA I dropped them for that reason. Promising stuff that never came out and when it did, it was a year old technology. I would like to get the voyager and my sister said that stores, atleast her store, won't be getting the voyagers back in til the 15th. Good luck on getting them, oh and mel, the sidekick is a pos, whether its free or not.

I can only say that because I had the original sidekick, the 2, and the 3. Won't ever go back to them. I DO miss having a real working AIM on my phone though thats for sure.

its being offered @ 299 w/ the upgrade, but when my Mom who is the primary on the account, did it for me it was 199...??? She called me to tell me hey guess what??? So I would try online w/ the primary, but you will need the upgrade status. If you have way too much info to transfer, you can always take it into any Verizon store to activate and transfer.

Well you can always make your own ringtones, it is fairly simple. Cool edit Pro 2, or not adobe premier since Adobe bought them out, add your favorite song, cut it down to no more than 30 seconds, save it as a MONO file. Rename that file extension to .mid instead of .mp3 once it has been saved. Than just email it to your phone ###@vzwpics.com. You will have to give it almost half a day before you get it. It only takes it 1 picture messaging.

and i got my voyager jan 27 of 08 and jst got my 4th phone replaced this morning so not a good experience with the phone so far.
