An average of one accident a month, one fatality per year. This is my daily commute to and from work. I live in Spring Valley and work in Poway. Route 67 is a one lane, undevided mountain pass that starts from interstate 8 to Route 78. The road is not as agresive compared to Polomar pass but really fun to do spirited driving. Now because of the accident there will be cops here for at least 3-4 weeks. Drive safe.

Jesus... looks at the names of the roads out there...

"The collision occurred shortly after 3:30 p.m. Thursday on state Route 67, near Slaughterhouse Canyon Road in the Foster area northeast of Santee, the CHP reported."

"Authorities shut down the north-south route between Vigilante Road and Scripps Poway Parkway to allow for investigations and cleanup."

lol wtf??

yeah i am in you spot...

i drive my evo 5 days a week to Pala, and i take the 76 to there.

granted its only about a 5-10 min drive from the 15 to my work, but i have seen TONS of accidents at night and some during the day.

from bikers to drifters to semi trucks have gotten taken out by the 76, not even by the actual Mtn itself.

you would think that this pass is cake walk, youd be surprise once you try to push your car.

granted most the route is through barona rd, but its similar.

been a while since i actually took the 67 all the way out though.....
