A buddy of mine told me about this place and how they went at night and raced. I thought to myself: slick track ok for a few rounds until you find the racing line and then pretty much just boring circles with kids and soccer moms ramming you and getting in your way.
Well I took my nephews there and they actually have a big road course. The carts are actually fast enough to wipe out big time. Because of the kids and soccer moms it can be a bummer because they do not know when to let off so you get rammed from time to time. Otherwise I found the no suspension carts to be a good learning experience. Without risking expensive body work to your car you can actually get in there and race others in close quarters. I got behind people and waited for their mistake to pass them. Backed off when I saw they were getting into scuffles. Followed the racing line to where these teens that were lighter than me could not pass. You run into traffic where I was passed, that sucked but thats part of racing.
I guess all things being equal meaning all decent drivers with some knowledge of racing and an effort not to bump you will probably end up finishing just like you went out but with all the llamas out there it kinda made it more interesting.
For $5/ race not a bad deal.
