I went to Bob Baker Mitsubishi for my OEM one. My deductible was $1000 so I had to shell out $680 for a new window.

Would a Lancer windshield work? Might be thicker though
If your windshield is installed wrong (wrong adheisive) or is of the wrong material (inferior aftermarket glass or moldings), your passenger airbag may not deploy properly.
I saw a report on TV years ago, I think it was John Stossel - 20/20. Â*Airbags blew out the windshield instead of protecting passengers and the passengers were seriously hurt or killed.
I think that's one area you want to do right for the obvious reasons. Â*
Also another reason not to buy a car with a replaced front windshield. Â*You never know the quality of the repair.
