O.K. I just got my first laptop (brand new), and am in the process of learning to log. I recently got tuned, and the tuner sent me his ecuflash v1.29, and evoscan v.99 w/ his .xml file w/ all of his rom mods, and evoscan v.99 wont install for me??? I have a Toshiba a215-somethin, running Vista. And it keeps giving me "need to install .net framework 1.1.4322. So I manually installed framework 2.0 and 1.1. And still no installation??? I decided to just pay for the new version to see if that would install, and it did, but I dont think you can use his .xml file w/ the new version... I tried installing it after I installed the new v. and its still giving me need to dl .net framework 1.1.4322... WTF :uglystupid2:
Can anybody help me out???

evoscan doesn't need to read the tuner's ecuflash xml file. Just install the version that you bought, hook up the tactrix cable and datalog your car. To use the latest ecuflash version, just install it and download your map from the ecu to start modifying it.

Listen to my bro. Evoscan 2.0 already has most of the parameters set up, but depending on what version of ecuflash you're using, you might have to change the request IDs. I'm using ecuflash 1.30 and evoscan 2.0. I had to change the request ids on evoscan in order to correctly show 2byte airflow. Evoscan was already setup to show 2byteload, 2byteairflow, and 2byterpm, so depending on which patch you used it may have instructed you to put the incorrect request id in.
