Well, this is what I heard through the grapevine, I have not really asked any authorities how factual this really is. When you get popped by one of these mobile smog stations, they will note in their system that your vehicle is a gross polluter; if it is. When the time comes to smog your vehicle, you will then be asigned to a test only station.

A fellow technician at my work got popped months ago by one of these mobile smog stations off 5fwy/edinger? I'm not exactly sure where, but I have seen one myself in that same area. He never got a notice about it, which leads me to believe that my first response is true. Maybe? Only time will tell.Â* O0
