cracks in the carbon itself? or in the clear? to replace a crack in the carbon you must remove material out and down like a big shallow v. then re-lay the carbon. depending on the brand and how attached you are to it, its probably alot cheaper to buy a new one. post some pics so we can get a better idea of damage.

there's a school i went to in reno nevada called abarus and its all about carbon. so if you are serious let me know and ill se what i can do!

it most certainly can! its just wether or not its cost effective. what do you think they do with airplanes when they get pitted and cracked? there is constant carbon repair going on with them. let alone racecars. you get a crack in a 100k dollar tub you don't want to scrap it right? or you go flying of the track and mess up your 9k dollar nose cone it definitely gets fixed.

but again it all comes down to cost effective-ness. ( i dont think thats a word but you know what i mean)

its just a crack in the clear. like a spider web. and on the edge it is chiped a little. and yes i am serious about repairing my trunk as long as its cost effective. as for pics my camera just broke...

A&a in van nuys repairs carbon. They are a very well know body shop, as they have turned out a lot of show winning cars. My cousin has his carbon hood and trunk repaired there.
