Did some testing today for the Evo X version of the GST Cone filter upgrade.
Amazed at the results so far...
Average +22whp / +22wtq gains!
Not only great power gains but it also greatly smoothed out the hiccups that the stock Evo X seems to have. Still uses the OEM factory air scoop and lid that brings in cool fresh air from the front of the vehicle.
More testing coming, and these filters will be available very soon. ;)
Stock vs GST open filter:

The average +22whp/+22wtq was taken at 5400 rpm. The bump in power at 6500 is from a littler leaner AFR and holding boost
2 pulls back to back with filter:

------------------------------------------------
Then I put on some boost control just for giggles and the Evo X made an additional 26whp to make it 280whp. Matched the OEM boost peak of 23.5psi. However I think the turbo held a bit too much boost up top for the factory tune as the curves weren't the smoothest.
Brought the boost control down to 22psi peak (less than stock), but still held a bit more than stock up top. Did four runs back to back, smoother curves and average was 275whp. That is a 44whp gain over stock.
I can't wait to start tuning these suckers.
