Short notice but im gonna be going to the palm desert area on an emergency trip. Was wondering if there was anyone available that knew about the CEL fix for the rear O2 sensor that could help me out. I know there now is a patch for the ecu that deletes the cel light but im new to the ecu flash thing and dont really know if i want to mess with it. Let me know please if there is someone that can help me out. thanks. - juan .

I am in lancaster. Kind of close but kind of not. I use the ecu patch but I keep my o2 installed for the heater circuit.

not sure how far exactly that is but thats what I want to do also with my O2 sensor just leave it in place and to the patch. Or how hard is it to do my self?

That patch is simple. Just follow the instructions on EvoM. Takes 2 seconds.

I'm going to Yuma in about 2 hours...if you need help w/ the rear o2 CEL fix I can help you out. I'll most likely be helping Jose/Gordo with his 2g this weekend.

Im in indio (5 secs from Palm Desert)- And I got the CEL on again... Just gonna check the code at autozone and reflash there in the parking lot. I had the Piston misfire code a couple of times and reflashed and was all better. No problems.

There is a 50/50 chance I will be driving down the 138 tomorrow towards IE. I will be going right through the Palm desert, kind of. I also have ScanTech so i can pull codes and reset them.

138 is a highway that goes from Lancaster to the I5. IE is Inland Empire. Scan tech is a pain to get to connect. It takes time once your setting are setup right.

Hey bro what up .. I live in PD .. you will just need the lil cell fix extention.. It just moves your 02 sensor back a lil bit.. Doesn't fit with all catbacks It kinds stretches my 02 sensor wire to far ... Hit me up if you have any more questions...

You can also make the bootleg CEL fix with two anti-spark foulers from pepboys or autozone- you just need to drill the hole bigger. If anyone could help it would be TY^^^ (Wicked Whitey)

Damm there are some many options to remove the CEL. I have read about the anit-fouler but since I live in an apartment I dont have the tools to drill the fouler or jackstands to raise the car. That option would be good also if I could get some help from someone that is available. Thanks.

yeah for the CEL from the O2 I had read that you buy the anti fouler from like autozone but you have to drill one of them slightly bigger. Then you put the two together and it should put the sensor farther out preventing the CEL.

I believe the cell fix he is talking about it setting up your ECU not to read it. I think it only works on 15 roms. I use it with no problem. I have my sensor in the stock location before my 100 cell cat and never had any problems.

Hey bud

Its good- still slackin it on the Trans flush but its still running good. I got a few goodies for cheap [Exterior stuff.] Ill get it in a little bit.

OP- If you want Pm and we can see what we can do about the drill- but if Ty has one just go with that one- I have that one on mine and it works perfect. takes like a minute to install and no drill needed.
