I have a 2004 Evo with about 39K miles and when I bought the Evo, the free service/maintenance was good up to 45 months or 45K miles. It has been about 46 months since I bought the car. The last free service is the 45month/45k service but was wondering if I need to perform that service before that time or am I sol on getting that service for free since the time has passed? Thanks in advance.

Did you purchase the car from Victorville/Long Beach/South Cost/Huntington Beach? They give Evo 8/9 free oil change for life.

Yes, I bought it at south coast mitsu and get the free oil changes but this last one is the 45,000 mile service and If I recall corrrectly it's around $400.00.

Just try to schedule it and see what they say?

PM me your VIN# and I'll check with mitsu to see what you have left. If not you still should get the free oil change and you would just have to pay for the additional parts and labor. O0 :mitsu:

The Free Maintenance program is something the original owner PAID for. There is no strict set of guidelines for the time or mileage requirements. You could still get it at 50k miles. The superscreen the dealership sees just has a red "meal ticket" if you have any free service left.
