View Full Version : The wait is killing me! (EVO X MR) X COUNTRY TIME!

I have been bored of my current car for the past 6 months and I found the Evo X and decided on it about 4 months ago after I somehow tricked a dealer to let me take one for a test drive. My current car is a lease and is up at the end of July so I tried to time it so I could get the X MR in late July.

What I should have planned better for was the 4 month wait! I am about 3 weeks out now and I have been on this forum pretty much every day for the past 2 months reading as much as I can. Some very exciting stuff.

I am planning on flying out to California and visiting our good friends at SCM and picking up my car July 19th, cruising up to our good friends at Robispec hopefully on July 21st to get some KW V3s installed. From there I will be hitting up the grand canyon, Vegas for a few days and then trecking it back to CT from there.

Anyone got any tricks to make the time go by faster? (Don't think about the Evo, don't think about the Evo, Don't think about the Evo!)

DAMNIT I AM THINKING ABOUT THE EVO.

read as much as you can about it on the forums. You can watch vids on youtube. Check out any local evo clubs in the area...

So you have tracked both cars and compared your results? Link?

Yes because properly setup KW's are inferior to OEM Billsteins :idiot2:

If so, the two X's with KW's I tracked with at CA Speedway a couple of weeks were not aware of this fact.

Here's predicting it'll be the first set of Moton Clubsports for the X. If so, I gotta get a ride! (have them on my VIII)

I just recently got the 40D but all of these shots were done with the 20D. I have a 17-40F4L, 70-200F4L, 50mm 1.4, and a 85mm 1.8.
