tragedy at 4th of july show

well as many of u know i am in the us military and i take great pride on holidays like 4th of july and veterans day. well all the feeling of pride were gone yesterday as i was waiting to see the fireworks at santa barbara beach. about 5 minutes before the show and about 50 feet away from me a group of latinos got in a circle and a fight broke loose. as we saw people run away we saw people still huddled around. my friends and i approached the scene where we saw what looked to be a 14-15 yr old boy laying face down and stabbed and his brother witnesing. it took the ambulence about 5 minutes to arrive and about 15-20min to take him to the hospital. i really hope to god that i am wrong but i beleive this young boy was dead. everyone was desperatly trying to resusitate him but he didnt seem to respond. all this happened right next to the pier and around thousands of people and most importantly childre. what hurts me the most is that my race was responsible for this stupid act of violence. not only did they ruin a familys life but they scared alot of children , ruined a celebration of being happy to be american but worst of all they are the reason latinos get such a bad rap. from this thousands of people will go home and say some stupids hispanics have no respect for anything except their gangs. i have seen many friends dye but when its a boy laying their lifeless just because someone was from a gang and didnt like that the boy and his friends had a lil old school bike club and where cruising is just sad.my prairs go out to him and his fammily and i hope god forgives him for his sins and grants him entrance to his kingdom. and as for the suspect, i hope he gets caught and given the maximum punishment and buttrapped in prison.

Yeah I got to agree with the rest here, can't be ashamed of your heritage. I hate the fact that the suspect maybe is the same ethnic background as me, but I am not ashamed of what I am. People need to stand up and show the good we people are, otherwise everyone outside is going to think we are the same as those douche bags.
