im thinking about taking a trip there, me and a couple of friends take our cars out there and have some fun but my question is, is the desert usually open for anybody and all the good stuff? also if other people want to go too i don't mind, the more the merrier.

its free, or it used to be.. i think they are starting to charge daily for use of that place.. probably like 10 bucks or something.. you should look at their website. They close the flats when they have events.

I am telling you the desert is gonna be hot as hell and you want your windows up to minimize the amount of dirt in your car. I went to Rabbit Lake in Oct when it was fairly cool and the car still got hot inside with the windows up. Make sure you take plenty of water and dont drink anything but water.
