evo x navigation bypass HOW TO???

Wanna to bypass the audio/dvd./ niv unit so i can play dvd while moving, anyone know how to bypass before I tear the unti apart

Usually its a red wire which stands out with the rest of the wires! Usually when u look at the wires they have tags with names of what wire's what! Since its a Factory navigation i wouldnt doubt it if they had more than just the E-Brake sensor...

I have an aftermarket one and my red wire had a tag that said "To-Ebrake" which I then cut and ground'd to whatever i could find that was metal...

Pomona, 57/60 fwy area. Tim, do you know which patch I should use with my firmware? My version is 00.20.68. Im thinking the patches im trying to install is for the later firmware than mine.

Go into your car... press and hold Navi+Set for a few seconds... seems to take forever... click on the link for the application then look to see if it says 00.28.?? or 00.30.94 or whatever... let me know

There is no uploading a movie into the hard drive. You can play them off of a disc if you do the unlock. Right now AUX in Motion is still in the works.

When you load a cd into your unit it stores the disc on a music server. The HD is really there for the Navi but they added space to store cds. If you were to store a DVD somehow you could maybe get 1 or 2 and thats it.

Should be the same as long as you have the 30.94 firmware.

Ottaku finally did it, please contribute if it works for you. I myself had been waiting for this for a long time (30.97) and it is finally here.

These are for version 30.97 to 30.11 (30.97 use 30.99)
So basically download the rar files, decompressed then burn the ISO file to dvd disc and insert in your unit and follow prompts, I just did it and works perfect.

Yes this works on a mac, download the RAR file, decompressed RAR file with stuffit expander, burn ISO on DVD using Apple's own Disk Utility software. Good Luck!

30.94 is going to be early 08 unles you had the unit put in as an add on then it could be any model. As the run of cars progressed so did the 30.xx numbers...
