What a crap test! 20W50 versus 0W50 oil? You should see improvements just from the viscosity differences alone. Nice apples to oranges comparison. +0

Actually, come to think of it, my friend had considerable problems running a zero weight in his 03 GSR.

Possibly due to mileage (ie normal wear and tear) the oil would seep past the rings and seals and blow oil out the back. Nothing was damaged it just didn't seal well and was burning oil. Switching back to a standard weight oil resolved the problems. I don't hold a masters degree and I'm not an engineer for mitsu, but I'm guessing there is a reason they state what the acceptable motor oil weight is, in the manual.

A zero weight oil might be okay for a dyno run, or even a short run on a quarter mile track. But it should be avoided in circumstances where the engine will be exposed to long term heat/stress such as road racing or tofu running (or even the average commute with socal peak temps).

to test oil correctly.

1.. take oil sample after hard run and sent it Oil Analysis Lab
2. Put it on a load dyno and slow down roller ramp rate and see the results under heavy load.

the video test was a joke.

Gullible fools? I don't think that I am. I'm definately not a fool. I was there mainly to dyno my x. I wanted to get some baseline run/numbers for the X after the factory reflash, to which I did get. Also, Ive experienced a lot of ups and downs with my 8 so I'm not that gullible when it comes to these types of stuff.

Anyway, I got my free dyno and cases of free oil, so I'm cool with that.

I don't think anyone is specifically calling you gullible bro.

Hey, free dyno, free oil. I would have taken it too.
(I would have avoided the video and run an unmarked car though)

Gullible is being applied to those who buy into the marketing hype/promise of HP, or anyone that missed professor switch-a-roo mixing oil weights. I think it's great to see these products get some attention in the US market. More options and more competition makes for better products as well as pricing, IMO. ENOS might want to consider who they subcontract their marketing too though.
