i just downloaded this off of itunes app store 8)
http://www.dynolicious.com/index-1.html
$12.99, not bad for what it is imo
You need the free 2.0 update for your iphone....i believe it works for ipod touch aswell (have to pay like $20 for the update, then spend another 13 bucks for the app which is quit a bit)

i jumped the gun and bought a cheapo version of it called G-tac that was $4.99 lol :uglystupid2:
So i bought the dynolicious one after lol, fail on my part because i should have bought this 12.99 one first lol

all you have to do is make sure your iphone is secure and not moveable (duck tape might work lol) then do the test :D

I havent actually tried it out yet, but ill try tonight when i get some gas, ill let you guys know how accurate it is and if it works....i am the test dummy that spent 20 bucks on apps lol, so maybe wait till after i say if its good or not....Up to you guys tho lol

i was looking at my car, and thought "hmmm, that ac vent looks perfect size for my iphone, meebeeeee"

i might take out the fins on the vent thing, put some rubber outline around it, then snap my iphone in there lol
Ill take pics of it if i decide to do that, my ac doesnt work anyways lol

btw, i tried it out a bit and it seems too work....i couldn't fully test it (ie and actual 0-60 test, etc) because there were cops on the hunt down around here when i went driving around

so iphone 2.0 or ipod touch 2.0 users should try this out as an cheap alternate to them 200+ buck performance analyzers

sorry guys im late with a test of the software, but i was in Vegas and shit for vacation and now i have time for the interwebs n stuff lol

This test was done in a 2006 Pt Cruiser (my cuz car, he punched the hell outta it for the test, pretty much how he alsways drives it)

this is the results:

0-10 mphÂ* Â* Â*1.11 sec
0-20 mphÂ* Â* Â*2.24 sec
0-30 mphÂ* Â* Â*3.75 sec
0-40 mphÂ* Â* Â*5.72 sec
0-50 mphÂ* Â* Â*8.25 sec
0-60 mphÂ* Â* Â*10.70 sec

60'Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* 2.95 @ 23.3 MPH
330'Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* 7.74 @ 46.6 MPH
1/8 miÂ* Â* Â* Â* Â*11.7 @ 64.2 MPH
1000'Â* Â* Â* Â* 15.28 @ 62.8 MPH
1/4 miÂ* Â* Â* Â*18.74 @ 63.9 MPH

Max speedÂ* Â* Â*67.4 MPH (im thinking that was the top he hit before we got to the end of the road lol)
Max accelerationÂ* Â* Â*0.68 G's
Peak HorsepowerÂ* Â* Â*N/A

Here are the screenshots of the results (screenshot using iphone)

i got the dynolicious also. I have a ipod charging dock which holds it in place. It's a pretty cool app, but you need a pretty quiet road to get the full pull. . . O0
