tranny question?

I just recently got my 3200lb act clutch and light weight flywheel about 4,000 miles ago and i am experiencing a "notchy feeling" when i go wot through all gears except 5th. Maybe I am angling the stick in the wrong direction when shift but i notice it more when i shift into 3rd and 4th. I had my tranny and diff fluids changed when my clutch was installed. I was also told that i should get some aftermarket shifter bushings and a short throw shifter. What would be the benefits of the shifter bushing's?

I have the same clutch along with an RRE no name flywheel combined with short shifter and shifter bushings. I have no problems with shifting, especially at high speeds/quick shifts, but I do get the same irritating knotchy feeling from 1st to 2nd occassionally. Not sure what difference the bushings alone make since i installed the short shifter and bushings at the same time

Shifter bushings would make your shifting more precise, so if you shift really hard this will help.

i have the 2900lb clutch and mine is notchy from 2nd to 3rd with the sheperd tranny
