At how many miles should the transmission fluid be changed? This would go for all other fluids that would need to get serviced.

Daily driving? No track days?

I change mine every track day (6 speed), but a general rule is I believe every 15-30k miles.

I change my tranny every 7500 miles because I want that 6 speed to last. So far I have 93,000 miles :D

Where do you take you Evo to get the trans fluid change? I had EZ Lube do it on my WRX one time. :uglystupid2:

EZ lube, ...I'll never use them again.Â* They forgot to put engine oil back in my WRX one time, and I checked it when I got home, and it was empty...Â* Â*bad bad bad.Â* Way before that I had the diff fluid changed... I guess I can't prove they actually did it, but I never had a problem besides that engine oil example.

So besides all the Evo do-it-yourself-ers, does anyone else take their car in for fluid changes ....?

The best work, is work you do yourself or have a trusted source.

Its not an EASY job. Its STRAIGHTFORWARD and TIME CONSUMING.

Go to evomoto.com and find the maintanence link for the Transmission/Transfercase/Read differential fluid changes.

and a definite MUST is a FLUID PUMP for the Rear differential. Its like $7-$10 bucks at Autozone.
