Has anyone replaced their Evo X 's OEM Day Time Running Light Bulb? Any 1156 bulb will work on the car ?
I found some LED bulb is even cheaper than Halogen. I am not sure they will work on the car. Any suggestion?

any 1156 bulb will work if you have the factory SSS HID package. I am running yellow 1156 bulbs on mine.

I found some yellow bulbs, but they are not like those super yellow bulb for the headlight. 1156 type bulb is low watt, I don't expect it is bright. LED is another alternative. I am going to order some 1156 LED, both yellow and white. I will post some pic up in a week or so.

the instructions on how to replace these are in your owners manual. They are standard bulb-replacement instructions in there.

Just replaced mine and man that was a challenge lol. The drivers side was a pain in the butt. My hands are a little too big to fit so I had my wife do the left side bulb

And btw just noticed this thread is pretty old... found it by searching Google ;)
