Someone here has to. Just curious about it. Looking for experience from everyday guys, please no vendor replies.

It is the same as SPEC and all those other brands like that. I had one in my Celica All-Trac, after my reverse blew out my trans cover, the clutch was already worn down to the metal rivet deals in about 10k miles. I have nearly 70k on my stock clutch on my Evo... I would just pay extra for the ACT HDSS.

im sure you've heard of when your doing something, do it right the first time. i know its tempting to try a different clutch that seems to do what every other one does but has a cheaper price. i went with a f1 clutch with my 2g dsm a few years back and had problems with the pressure plate. it turned into a big hassle and at the end gave up on her.

my advice is go with something thats proven, it hurts now but will be more than worth it in the long run
