I am debating between these two exhaust....From what I heard that Greddy TiC isn't really Titanium, its only the muffler tip part and the rest is stainless steel...And I know that the AMS exhaust is like 80 lbs :-o but I don't have the specs for the Greddy so I don't know the weight of that...

As far as gains, I don't have info on how much each makes so that might be another deciding factor...But I think they would be similar.

Where can I get the Greddy TiC for good price if anyone knows?

wait until they announce the price and details for the greedy spectrum elite for the X

the spectrum will probly be a crap load of $$$$$... the ti-c is less $$ than the ams...

gains: i would say about the same imo.
looks: i think the ti-c looks damn straight clean because of the burnt tip =)

but idk about the weight.. wayyyyy lighter than stock forsure hahahhahahha

u can get the ti-c at lots of places look at evom.. or jeff @ 500whp has some too here on the vendors section... and scm might still have some..

A long ass time ago there was a dude driving around with a lancer like 04 in San Gabriel saying he was sponsored by mugen. maybe he can get you a dual exit catback exhaust with his hook ups? lol

Why not go with the RRE stealth exhaust? You are bound to get pulled over and screwed by the popo and a bright shiny loud exhaust makes it more likely to happen.

I've been sporting a loudass exhaust since my 2003 Evo 8 and gotten pulled over maybe 4 times and all with tickets.....Hey, I don't regret it!!

Call RRE up, and when you ask, report back to this thread so I know how much it costs too =)

the ams exhaust will better performance wise because it is full straight pipping with no resonators, but it is very loud! ... The greedy looks nicer in my opinion , and will be quieter because it has one pretty big resonator... & performance wise it won't be a noticible diferrence between having a big resonator vs full straight pipping...

This is my exo x with the greddy Ti-C. it is stainless steel with only the tip being titanium, greddy.com states so.
It is way lighter over stock. It has a deep low rumble at idle but when given juice, it can be heard from blocks away (with the silencer removed).
$650 isn't a bad price either. $150 for the greddy downpipe.

How do you like the Greddy exhaust with the downpipe? How loud is the combination?

To be honest, the downpipe didn't really do anything for me (noice & performance).
But the Ti-C with the silencer removed is great. It gives off a nice rumble at idle and gets really loud which can be heard from a few blocks away once you get up and go. :police:

Nice to see your set up Jose!

Im planning on getting RR myself!

Did you ever get my PM about the coils?

thx for the compliment.
It seems that the rally red is not a popular color for the Evo X. So if you could do me a favor and not get the rally red, so that I'm one of the very few that have it, that would be cool. haha JK. not really.
I did get your PM on the KW coil overs. I'm working on getting the money for a tune first. but you'll hear from me when "El Diablo de Santa Ana " is ready for coil overs.

do you HAVE TO tune the car after installing the catback and downpipe??
